1 Delivery and pricing
I value your business, and will always do my best to deliver good quality work, on or before your deadline. I will write to confirm the rates that we have agreed; if you think I am mistaken, please let me know before publication.
2 Guarantee
I won't be happy until you are. If for any reason you're not satisfied with any aspect of my service, I will try to resolve the problem for you. If I fail, simply return the unpublished material in good condition, and owe me nothing.
3 Telephone interviews
I may record telephone interviews to ensure that you are always quoted accurately.
4 Copyright
Copyright exists in all my work, and in all third party material that I supply. All rights remain with the owner until my invoice is paid in full. Payment of the agreed fee includes:

I am always happy to discuss the sale of additional rights, but you will be in breach of copyright if you syndicate or further publish text or pictures in any form, without prior agreement in writing.
5 Care of pictures
I normally supply images in digital format.
Exceptionally, I may agree to supply original transparencies; please return them to me in good condition by the date shown on my delivery note. Longer loans may be arranged when necessary, subject to an appropriate weekly rental charge.
I will invoice you for lost or damaged transparencies as shown on my delivery note, on top of the appropriate reproduction fees. I will waive or refund these charges on any material that is subsequently returned undamaged.
6 Associate writers
With your agreement, I may assign an associate writer to work with me on particular projects. I will remain responsible for delivery and invoicing of the job, which will be covered by my usual guarantee.
7 Payment
Payment is due within 30 days of my invoice, unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in advance. I understand and will exercise my right to claim interest and compensation for debt recovery costs under late payment legislation if I am not paid according to agreed credit terms.
I may also take legal action to recover the debt.
