Deborah King was born in London, lived in Hong Kong for 2 years and has travelled extensively. She particularly enjoys visiting quirky, unusual places.

Deborah contributes on a regular basis to The Times (Creme, T2), Daily Telegraph (Travel), MedLife and the Independent on Sunday. She has also edited Hilton Guest lifestyle magazine and has a freelance contract with The Times. Her commissions include features about jobs, health and fitness, activities, working relationships, and travel.

Deborah's first book, 50 walks in Greater London, was published by the AA in 2002.
