about David Foster

David specialises in outdoor recreation, rural and environmental issues. He has written travel and general features for the Daily Telegraph, Times, Independent and Express, and contributed to numerous magazines and the regional press.

Most of David's work now involves copywriting and business sector commissions. These range from single in-house magazine features, to comprehensive publicity and media contracts including the production of press releases, leaflets and regular full-colour publications. David's business clients have included the Campaign to Protect Rural England, the Environment Agency and Ordnance Survey.

To ensure continuity over holiday periods, and to provide clients with a more robust and responsive service, David works with a team of respected associates on larger or more specialist projects.

David Foster is also the author of several books, including 50 Walks in Surrey (AA, 2008); Isle of Wight (Crimson, 2010); and The New Forest National Park (Crimson, 2010). He writes regularly for The Pub Guide (AA) and has also contributed several routes to the AA's Pub walks and cycle rides series.

    what clients say ...

"Your article was another sterling piece of work. You’ve got a lovely discursive style which maps out a complicated issue in a very easy-going and engaging way."
