Four years after completing the original manuscript for Jarrold's Short Walks guide to the New Forest, David is re-walking the routes for a full revision of this best-selling title. The book was relaunched when the New Forest National Park was set up in 2005. Now, the title is benefitting from a full revision as part of Jarrold's rolling four-year review programme. Despite involvement with several similar revisions in the past, this is the first time that David has worked on one of his own titles. "Many of the routes in this guide have stood the test of time," David commented, "but it's important to remain detached from the original manuscript and pick up changes and corrections on the ground." David regularly works on Jarrold's market-leading series of Short Walks and Pathfinder walking guides. In the past, he has been involved with a variety of titles, including Sussex & South Downs, Kent, and In & Around London. |
